InterAct TrueSentry digital video surveillance and MissionMode emergency notification system is the perfect pair to give school administrators the tools they need to protect students and faculty. TrueSentry offers intelligent motion detection, integration with door access controls and alarms, and continuous recording and archiving on a network video recorder (NVR) eliminating the need to store and replace traditional VHS tapes used with CCTV surveillance systems. Existing cameras installed in the school can be in integrated to extend the life of past hardware investments. TrueSentry can even be tied in to the local 9-1-1 centers so incidents can be quickly escalated to emergency dispatchers. School officials and even law, fire and medical response teams can take control of the live cameras over a secure web connection, even via a handheld device, to get a clear view of the current situation.

Once a threat is identified by TrueSentry, alerts can be sent to school officials via the MissionMode emergency notification and crisis management system with video of the incident attached for quick and easy review no matter where they are. MissionMode also provides administrators with an online command center where the team can access crisis plans, update a log with response progress, and assign and update tasks. MissionMode can also be used to send pre-recorded automatic notifications to parents about anything from school closures due to weather, to critical information about school emergencies.
