InterActMobile PartnersEZ-License A complementary software application from Positive Access Corporation that works in conjunction with InterActMobile to enable a law enforcement or authorized traffic officer to swipe a magnetic stripe or scan the bar code on the back of a driver’s license and import that information directly into InterActMobile. Once the information is in InterActMobile, the user can run NCIC, Drivers License and other queries without re-typing the driver’s license data—saving officer time and improving the accuracy of the data capture. iPass Over-the-air device management software that moves updated releases of InterActMobile to the laptop in the patrol car over a network and installs them with minimal (or no) user intervention, significantly decreasing the administrative overhead and time associated with deploying InterActMobile upgrades to the entire fleet. In addition to InterActMobile upgrades, iPass can be used for remote updates of other software on the mobile devices (e.g., operating system and browser software), as well as enhanced file transfer functions. These solutions quickly pay for themselves:
The traffic offender’s information is obtained utilizing the data returned from NCIC and motor vehicle queries through InterActMobile, and/or the information provided on the driver’s license (which can be captured with the EZ-License solution described above). With a compatible remote printer, a paper citation can be printed on-scene, reducing time and cost to the agency.
