GIS and Mapping

Direct First Responders to the Scene Quickly

InterActGIS is a dynamic, easy-to-use digital mapping application that displays wired and wireless caller locations, landmarks, aerial and satellite imagery, specific structure photos, and other geo-based items necessary to direct a successful response. InterActGIS also supports ESRI and all other industry-standard GIS formats. With InterActGIS, extensive features such as event analysis and SSM are available to create a more productive dispatch environment that increases call center efficiency, reduces agency costs, and, most importantly, saves lives.

With the seamless integration between InterActCAD and InterActGIS, dispatchers can create calls, drag and drop units, and manage and change unit status right on the visual map. And our unique reverse geo-coding functionality enables dispatchers to take lat/long rebid information and pinpoint the caller location in relation to the nearest address—a necessary function for tracking moving vehicles.

InterAct’s automatic vehicle location system, InterActAVL, tracks units on the map and enables dispatchers to identify which officers are in close proximity and best equipped to respond to the scene. This reduces response times and increases responder safety and efficiency.

And because maintaining accurate maps is critical to effective emergency response, InterAct’s in-house GIS department can manage and execute your mapping and addressing projects, and alleviate the headache of keeping map data up to date.
