OdysseyGIS

InterAct OdysseyGIS was developed specifically for the public safety industry and easily interfaces seamlessly with your E911 system. OdysseyGIS supports all ESRI (Environmental systems Research Institute) formats. We can also convert client maps for use in the system such as AutoCad, MapInfo and Microstation.

When the system is interfaced with InterAct’s computer aided dispatch system, you can quickly create a CAD call for a location on the map. Location information is transferred to CAD automatically, allowing dispatchers to handle the call without delay. A separate monitor specifically for the OdysseyGIS application will increase split-second viewing of all vital information.

OdysseyGIS functionality is greatly enhanced when integrated with our CAD system, allowing you to:

• Identify a caller’s location
• Drop and drag incident icons from the CAD screen onto the GIS map
• Direct units to a “diversion site”
• Continuously display and track vehicles when equipped with AVL
• Monitor EMS posts
• Manage pursuits in progress
• Discover call trends or predict future problems
• Track pursuit locations on the map and store all updates and pursuit route snapshots in CAD
