InterAct Mobile (formerly known as MobileCop from BIO-key International) is a complete wireless query and messaging application that uses state-of-the-art wireless *communications technology and advanced data query methodologies to search local, state and federal databases, and display responses in a logical and unique way; to send and receive messages, maintain status and transfer data from other mobile and desktop locations.

Mobile units receive calls for service with all the information they need about the caller, location, best route, prior incidents, and other assigned units from any computer-aided dispatch system, including InterAct CAD. A touch of the screen updates unit status. Queries are easy to enter and hits are highlighted visibly and audibly according to policy and preference. Supervisors have mobile access to incidents and unit assignments. Units equipped with mobile mapping and automatic unit tracking (InterActAVL) can see incidents on the map and the location of nearby units.

InterAct E911

Call Control for PSAP’s

The InterAct E911 IP-capable emergency call taking system is a standards-based solution that offers the advantages of IP without risking reliability or performance. It is built upon an IP core and uses the widely accepted Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Yet, the extensive set of features available in the InterAct E911 Computer Telephony Interface (CTI) software are not sacrificed. InterAct E911 accepts standard 911 trunks, 7-digit emergency lines, caller ID lines, wireless Phase 1 or 2, or, if the PSAP has service from a VoIP provider, VoIP calls.

After the call is received, 911 calls are routed to ring at the operator position without any additional call-processing delay. At the position, the operator can answer the call with a mouse, keyboard, touch screen, or 911 telephone set, which is always present to maintain the call in case of PC failure. With the Series 3300, 911 calls can be transferred manually or automatically to a PSAP’s alternate emergency call taking system over IP, avoiding the Central Office.
