InterAct Public Safety Systems Builds the Solutions Architect Team

Winston-Salem, N.C. - January 26, 2009 - InterAct Public Safety Systems is pleased to announce the hiring of four new Solutions Architects: Gloria Street, Ron England, Walter Pitts and Bob Stoker.

InterAct's Solutions Architect Team is responsible for building and sustaining successful relationships with current and potential customers. InterAct's Solution Architects are able to use their extensive experience in public safety, knowledge of industry best practices, and understanding and InterAct's 9-1-1 and law enforcement solutions to provide customers with continuous support.

  • Gloria Street comes to InterAct after almost 10 years with the Victorville Fire Department in California as the Communications Program Manager and a total of 18 years in Law Enforcement Communications. At Victorville, Street became a client of InterAct's and assisted in the development of the cross-manning functionality in InterAct CAD. Street will contribute her in-depth knowledge of CAD - Fire/EMA background for a complex setup, CTI, Mapping, BIO-key Mobile and interfaces to the team.
  • Ron England has 40 years of experience in the law enforcement telecommunications field. For almost 30 years, he served with the Kentucky State Police. England then became the E911 Coordinator for Cynthiana-Harrison County, KY, and later served as the Director on the Communications Center. England is also the former Director of Paris, Bourbon County 911 in KY. He brings with him an extensive training background and understanding of the challenges faced by dispatchers and first responders.
  • Captain Walter Pitts joins InterAct after more than 20 years of distinguished service with the Harrison County, MS, Sheriffs Office. For the last nine years he was the Officer in Charge of Communications. Pitts brings his extensive experience of public safety and law enforcement expertise to InterAct's team.
  • Bob Stoker comes to InterAct from Anderson County, SC 911 where he served as the NCIC/CAD System Administrator for eight and a half years. Stoker has hit the ground running at InterAct with his strong knowledge of CAD, GIS and IT. His insights will allow InterAct to better serve current and new customers.
