InterAct Public Safety Systems Hires Seven New Regional Sales VPs
Winston-Salem, N.C. - January 22, 2009 - InterAct Public Safety Systems, a leading provider of comprehensive public safety and homeland security solutions for local, state and federal government agencies, is pleased to announce the addition of seven new Regional Sales Vice Presidents: Bob Heidbrink, Priscilla Nieves, Tom Klaban, Julie Heimkes, Martha Chavez, John Robinson and Gary Oldham.
InterAct's Regional Sales Vice Presidents will oversee customer relationships in their respective territories, bringing an understanding of the challenges facing emergency management personnel with the ability to recommend and implement custom solutions to address their needs.

- Bob Heidbrink - Bob brings more than 20 years of experience selling public safety solutions throughout the Midwestern U.S. Bob lives in the Minneapolis area and will be the regional sales VP covering Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. Previously, he has worked for New World Systems and Tyco Electronics/M/A-Com and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.
- Priscilla Nieves - Priscilla lives in Melbourne, Florida and will be the Regional Sales VP covering Florida. Priscilla has more than seven years of experience selling public safety solutions and she is currently the Commercial Advisory Committee Chairperson and Vendor Representative for Florida APCO. Previously, she worked for Stancil Solutions whose voice recorder system enjoys a forty percent market share in FL due to Priscilla's efforts. Priscilla is a graduate of Ft. Lauderdale College.
- Tom Klaban - Tom has more than 25 years experience in developing and selling public safety solutions. A resident of West Bloomfield, Michigan, Tom will be the Regional Sales VP covering Ohio and Michigan. Previously, he worked for ID Networks, New World, and Chiefs (which eventually became HTE). Tom is a graduate of Ohio State University where he was the kicker on the football team that was coached by the legendary Woody Hayse. Tom also spent a couple of years in the NFL.
- Julie Heimkes - Julie lives in Goodyear, Arizona and will be the Regional Sales VP covering Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Southern California. Julie has over 10 years experience selling public safety solutions and another 21 years experience as a paramedic and running PSAPs in Minnesota. Previously, she worked for Plant/CML, Orbacom Radio and EF Johnson Radio. Julie is an active member of APCO and NENA organizations.
- Martha Chavez - After a year away with Federal Signal, Martha has come back to Interact. Martha lives in the San Jose, CA area and will be the Regional Sales VP covering Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming. Martha has more than five years of experience selling public safety solutions, 10 years in dispatch for San Jose PD and Los Gatos PD and spent several years working in a PSAP in California. Martha graduated from Santa Clara University.
- John Robinson - John is a current InterAct employee who is joining the sales team. John lives in Kentucky and will be the Regional Sales VP covering Kentucky and Northern Tennessee. Prior to joining InterAct, John worked for Baker Integrated Technologies in Norcross, Georgia for three and a half years. He offers a comprehensive understanding of InterAct's solutions and programs to his customers through his six years of installing and maintaining InterAct's products and his 10 years industry experience as a vendor.
- Gary Oldham - A resident of Austin, Texas and will be the Regional Sales VP for the Lone Star State. Gary has over 30 years experience in public safety solutions and he was the youngest patrol officer ever in the state of California. Gary also spent many years working in a PSAP. Previously, he was the Chief at Williamson County Department of Emergency Communications, Senior Program Manager at CSC, and Sales Manager at Lucent Technology. Gary is a graduate of the National Fire Academy and Phoenix University.
