Winston Salem, NC -- April 21, 2008 -- InterAct Public Safety Systems, a leading provider of public safety and homeland security technology used by local, state, national and international government agencies, is sponsoring a Visioning Exercise 2008 hosted by the Association of Public-Safety Communication Officials (APCO) International. The exercise is titled, "A Look To the Future: The Vision for Public Safety Communications Capabilities." This half-day event, hosted in Miami, FL, will bring together public-safety industry leaders to discuss how advanced communication technology is affecting public safety agencies. This effort will subsequently produce draft standards for public safety technology to keep up with communication needs. A report will then be developed and presented at the APCO Annual Conference and Exposition August 4-6, 2008 in Kansas City, MO.
