Matt Roszak
Senior Vice President Corporate Development
Mr. Roszak is a board observer of InterAct911 Corporation, and serves as executive vice president of corporate development. Mr. Roszak is also co-founder and managing partner of SilkRoad Equity, a private investment firm. SilkRoad Equity led the original acquisition of and investment in InterAct911. Mr. Roszak has spent over 15 years in private equity and venture capital and invested in excess of $1 billion of capital in a broad range of industries, with experience in executing a broad scope of transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; corporate and transactional financing, including private equity, venture capital, mezzanine and conventional financings; public offerings, private placements and financial restructurings. Prior to SilkRoad Equity, Mr. Roszak was senior vice president of corporate development for divine, inc. Previously, Mr. Roszak was a principal with Advent International in London. Advent is one of the world’s largest and most successful private equity firms, managing in excess of $10 billion of capital. Before joining Advent, Mr. Roszak spent five years with Keystone Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm. Prior to its sale to DirectTV, Mr. Roszak served on the board of directors of 180 Connect (TSX: CNCT) for five years, whereby revenues grew from $50 million to $350 million, and served as chairman of the audit and compensation committees and was a member of the corporate governance committee. Mr. Roszak is a beneficial owner and director of various companies, including: Cryo-Cell (OTCBB: CCEL), HardMetrics, InterAct911, Legendary Auctions, MissionMode Solutions, onramp Branding, Pendulab, SilkRoad Equity, SolidSpace, TrueLook, TrueSentry and Viwawa. Mr. Roszak earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Lake Forest College.
