InterAct MAPS
InterAct Maps was developed with first responders in mind. Not only is the system capable of pinpointing the location of a caller and/or incident, but it will also provide access to critical location information before units arrive. InterAct Maps is a dynamic map display that shows caller locations (wired and wireless), incidents, units, landmarks and any other geo-based items that can be displayed on a map. InterAct’s mapping solution provides users with relevant information, reducing response times, increasing responder safety and efficiency, and enhancing dispatcher productivity.
InterAct Maps is a dynamic, easy-to-use digital mapping application that displays caller, incident and unit locations as overlays to the map display created from local GIS data. InterAct Maps can search any GIS data layer for results that can be used as validated locations using any attributed feature as a potential incident location. This display can include aerial imagery, specific structure photos and other geo-based items necessary to dispatch and direct a quick and efficient incident response.
Developed specifically for the public safety industry, InterAct Maps interfaces seamlessly with an E911 telephone systems and supports all industry-leading map formats, including ESRI. InterAct also has an in-house GIS Division that can prepare other client map formats for use within the system.
InterAct’s GPS Tracker system
InterAct’s GPS Tracker monitors the position of GPS-equipped emergency vehicles and other devices, allowing dispatchers to send the closest available responder to the incident location. Responder GPS locations are transmitted to other field users, is available to dispatchers and to an EOC, so that everyone is aware of unit and incident locations. When critical situations occur, such as “officer needs assistance”, the location is not in doubt.
InterAct GIS Map Maintenance
First responders need pinpoint accuracy in maps when responding to emergencies. But keeping maps updated in a GIS system can be a major burden and cost. Maps change each time a new house is built or a road is altered. These variables can impact the speed of fire, police, and medical teams arriving on the scene to bring critical assistance. InterAct offers various levels of GIS Map Maintenance services to ensure confidence in the map data with regular updates to allow improved emergency personnel response times.
