Jeffrey Hillebrand is Chief Operating Officer at NorthShore University HealthSystem. Since joining the company in 1979 he has worked in a variety of capacities culminating in his position as COO. NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) is an integrated healthcare system that includes Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, and Skokie Hospitals, NorthShore Medical Group (comprising 75 medical offices and facilities), NorthShore Home Services, NorthShore Research Institute and NorthShore Foundation. NorthShore is the only Illinois hospital named as one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals 13 times. NorthShore is in the top five percent of all multi-specialty institutions that receive funding from the National Institutes of Health.
Mr. Hillebrand is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and for five years served as a Regent. He is a former member of the Young Presidents Organization and a current member of the World Presidents Organization. He was a board member of Neoforma, Inc. serving as its Compensation Committee Chairman. Mr. Hillebrand served as a Commissioner of the Certification Commission of Healthcare Information Technology, CCHIT, and on the board of the National Association of Healthcare Information Technology, NAHIT. He is currently a board member of SilkRoad technology.
