InterAct webCAD
Communication centers often require remote back-up locations to accommodate emergency situations and overflow call processing. InterAct webCAD enables real-time access to critical CAD data from a Command Post or other field location. It is easily accessible from any remote location that has an Internet connection. In this capacity, emergency service personnel are able to retrieve information without the need for full CAD access, thus providing more access to responders, for minimal cost.
Agencies surrounding a dispatch center can also benefit from InterAct webCAD services. The incident details can be immediately viewed by the other agencies with access privileges allowing updates to be viewed instantly. As a result, multiple agencies and key personnel across the neighboring public safety agencies can now have access to incident data and responses via a secure internet connection.
InterAct CAD Public Access
InterAct CAD Public Access enables agencies to publish real-time CAD incident information on a public website to keep the media and public informed. This has immediate benefits for emergency agencies in heavily populated areas that are often inundated with calls from the public and the media inquiring about area incidents, traffic issues, and other non-critical matters. Each agency has the ability to configure which incident types and information is made available to the public.
